EXPERIENCE
I was born in Marangu Village on the northeast slope of Mount Kilimanjaro and dreamed of climbing since I was a young boy. I worked my way up, first as a porter and cook, then as a guide, and now as the proud owner of my own tour company. Together, my crew and I have made hundreds of successful summits. We know the mountain—and we will make sure you have an incredible experience.
SAFETY
There are many things that can go wrong when climbing at high altitude and in changeable weather. Our team has escorted groups of all ages and abilities safely up the mountain. We take every safety precaution and encourage all climbers to take the trip “pole - pole” (Swahili for “slowly - slowly”). That way, we give everyone a chance to adjust to the altitude and have a safe, enjoyable adventure.
PASSION
Unlike other trekking companies, we are 100% employee owned and operated. Our guides and porters are all native Tanzanians who have grown up climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. This mountain is our home, and we are honored to welcome visitors from around the world to share this sacred place. As we climb together, we share our love for Kilimanjaro—and we become like family.
